Phantom walked past the Son of James members on the floor. He picked up his combat knife from the floor. The Phantom holstered his pistols and readied his P90. He entered the hallway leading to the front entrance and the second floor. He looked up the steps to see if there was an ambush waiting for him. He saw a photos hanging on the entrance to the stairs
He walked up the stairs with P90 ready. He heard music playing. He kicked open the door to the second floor. No one was in the main room. In front of him he saw a closed door. Kicking in the door to the room, Phantom quickly levels off his weapon and fires three rounds at Annie Pokley. Two rounds strike her. She collapsed to the floor in a spasm of pain.
As the ‘john’ tried to run passed Phantom, the remorseless gang-land hunter drove the butt of assault weapon into his gut and knocked him to ground. Keeping his weapon in his hands, Phantom lowers the barrel of his P90 and says to the ‘john’, “If you want to live you’ll do exactly what I say.” After a brief and menacing pause he continues, “Tell the police . . . the media . . . and anyone else that will listen . . . that this city is under my protection now. Let the gangs know that what happened here tonight is only the beginning . . . that this city is theirs no more.” He then slowly moved out of the door way and made room for him to get pass, and then motioned with the barrel of his weapon for him to leave.
The ‘john’ bolted through the door and down the stairs.
The gang-land scourge checked the remaining 2nd floor rooms and the roof. He did not encounter anyone else. He did find stolen goods, drugs, and weapons.
In the distance he hears the approach of police sirens. It is time to execute his exit strategy.

Just wanted to switch something up on this last issue if I could, Tom. You mentioned Phantom going up the stairs with his pistols drawn – for the stairs I would prefer to have him holster his pistols and use his P90. Also – He would also recover his combat knife before he left the room he was last in on the first floor ( he dropped it during the fight ). With that said . . .

* If he manages to ‘take out’ Annie Pokley and the ‘John’ doesn’t draw a weapon, and just cowers in fear, Phantom will do the following:

* If he isn’t able to ‘take out’ Annie Pokley with his first burst; regardless of what the ‘John’ does, Phantom will do the following:
Seeing that his first volley of weapons fire didn’t eliminate his target, Phantom squeezes off three more rounds at Annie Pokley.
* If he manages to ‘take out’ Annie Pokley and the ‘John’ draws a weapon, Phantom will do the following:
As the ‘John’ pulls out his weapon, Phantom immediately trains his assault weapon on him and dumps three rounds into him as well.
* If he manages to ‘take out’ Annie Pokley and the ‘John’ tries to push passed Phantom and run of the room, Phantom will do the following:

Awesome issue, Tom! I actually didn’t expect to find anyone left upstairs . . . well . . . maybe a stereotypical head-villain type or something, but a hooker and a ‘john’? Nope – didn’t see that one coming – I figured they all would have fled the building once they heard all the weapons fire down on the lower level.
If you need me to expand upon what Phantom’s ‘exit strategy’ is in order to work it into this issue - just let me know. I already have a solid idea of how I think Phantom would like to see this all end.
By the way, I was looking at the map of the 2nd floor and the stairs seem to indicate that there’s some kind of 3rd level – is there a 3rd level or am I just seeing things?
