{Location: Ancient Burial Mound in the Everglades Florida}
After completing his scans StrikeForce relayed
the information he collected to his teammates. "Crusaders! Change of
strategy, the spirits’ weapons, and amulet in the case of Asi-vaholo are where
we should focus our attacks. If we can take or break them the spirits will be
rendered harmless."
[15] Adamas
nodded to StrikeForce. He fired 5 blasts
at the Amulet. Only 3 of the blasts hit. The Amulet withstood the damage and
was still in one piece.
[12] The
Skink focused his attack, in his hit and run skink style, to steal the drum
from the Indian Spirit. Skink successfully took the drum away for the Spectre
Drummer.
[ 6] Manta-Man
fired 2 electrical bolts at the Amulet around Asi-vaholo neck. Both bolts hit
destroying the Amulet. Asi-vaholo screamed in rage!! “No!!!”
[ 5] Black
Orchid held her action awaiting to see what would happen next.
[ 2] StrikeForce
attacked the spear of the spirit closest to him, the Bionic Brawler caught the
spear between his escrima sticks breaking the spear into 3 pieces.
As-vaholo slowly faded away. His link to the
physical world gone he had to go back to the Spirit Lands. The other Indians
lowered their arms and the one with the remaining weapon, the bow, lowered it
as well. They would be returning to their final resting spots having been freed
from their bondage. With the eerily silence of a tomb, the Spirit Warriors
faded away.
As Manta-Man and the other New Crusaders
gathered up Shaman, Black Orchid thought about the 2 wooden statues they passed
when they had entered the Indian Burial Mound. They hadn’t paid attention to it
because they were focused on following where Shaman had gone. Black Orchid
walked to the wooden statues.
She recognized 1 of the wooden statues. It
was Evergreen. “No, it isn’t possible is it?” she said as she thought about
Asi-vaholo changing Manta-Man into a wooden statue during the fight.
As Black Orchid looked on in shock, the
wooden statues started to change and move. In 10 seconds, the wooden statues
were no more but Evergreen was standing bent over with her hands on her knees.
Next to her was a man, wearing a cowl, Black Orchid had never seen before.
Evergreen looked up and locked eyes with
Black Orchid, “It would appear you are making it a habit of rescuing me. I am supposed
to feel flattered.”
{GM
Note: Crusade Issues 20-26 for Black Orchid and other heroes freed the
Crusaders from the Crushers who were holding them captive in the Citadel.}
Manta-Man quickly joined Black Orchid and
Evergreen. Manta-Man checked on Evergreen to make sure she was okay. Manta-Man
turned to the stranger. “Are you Dr. William Wildman? Evergreen has told me
about you.”
Manta-Man introduced Dr. Wildman to Adamas,
Black Orchid, Skink, and StrikeForce.
{GM
Note: Dr Wildman is new player Steve Delves’ character. Welcome him to the

Evergreen asked Manta-Man, “How long have we
been statues?”
Manta-Man replied, “I don’t know. Why don’t
you both tell us what brought you here and when that was. Maybe we can figure that
out.”
=======FLASHBACK=======
Blitzkrieg thanked Dr Wildman, Evergreen, and
Lionheart in their help in capturing Dr. Velo. His plan to commit genocide by
destroying Germany's water supply was hideous. Because of their help many lives
were saved that would have been lost otherwise. "I might be lightning fast
but I can't be everywhere at once. I thank you again." Blitzkrieg said.
Dr Wildman shook his head: "Life is
precious...I still can't understand why someone would want to destroy it so
casually...and to use the water supply..." He breathed in deeply and then
exhaled slowly. "I'm pleased to have been able to help you avert this
disaster my friend!"
"It is my pleasure to stop evil wherever
it arises" Lionheart said.
Evergreen nodded in positive agreement but
was silent otherwise.
As the trio prepared to depart Berlin,
Evergreen took Dr. Wildman aside. "Something doesn't feel right. The
Spirit of the Water should be at peace now but I still feel its fear. It is
still threatened. Somehow we didn't stop the threat of Dr. Velo. I wonder if he
might have a second hidden base." She said.
Dr Wildman to Evergreen: "I agree, She
is not calm and I sense there is more to this than meets the eye. Perhaps it is
prudent to dig a little deeper."
Evergreen informed Lionheart she would not be
returning to American and the Crusaders right away. She was staying in Germany.
She planned on assisting Blitzkrieg in making sure the threat of Dr. Velo was
over.
Lionheart was puzzled by her decision but he
admitted to himself that Evergreen always left him feeling puzzled.
"What about you Dr. Wildman, do you want
a ride back home or do you plan on staying?"
Dr Wildman shook him firmly by the hand and
clasped his shoulder with the other: "I think I'll stay a while, although
the immediate threat is over I wonder if there is something more here...call it
a hunch. I'll stay for a short while and will probably still get home quicker
than you. Let's grab a pint when I get back and I'll fill you in."
Dr. Wildman and Evergreen met with Blitzkrieg
again. "Okay, which do you want to first, interview Dr Velo or check out
his lair?" the German Superhero asked.
Evergreen looked at Dr. Wildman, "What
do you think? We could split up and do both?"
Dr Wildman pondered the question for a while.
With all the 'superspeed' activity of the day, perhaps a moment of stillness
would render some wisdom to any answer he would make. His survival skills
instilled in him the importance of pausing and action, and the moments when one
or other would save the day. He considered the day’s activity playing the scene
through his memory:
When Dr. Wildman with the other heroes
tracked down Dr. Velo, the Velocity Villain was at the water treatment plant.
The heroes prevented the contaminating of the water supply but failed to
capture Dr. Velo. The Devious Doctor had an ability field which enabled him to
remove velocity from projectiles. Blitzkrieg with his super speed was in
essence a human projectile. Dr. Velo stripped Blitzkrieg of his velocity
attacks. While Blitzkrieg was able to move and punch the Velocity Villain, The
German Lightning Warrior was basically a skilled human instead of superhuman in
his fight with Dr. Velo.
After hitting Dr. Velo with a single punch,
Blitzkrieg fell in a spasmodic state. Dr. Velo instilled instant velocity into
coins he was carrying, launching them at terminal velocity at the other heroes.
As Lionheart, Evergreen, and Dr Wildman evaded the coins and attempted to revive
Blitzkrieg; Dr Velo instilled velocity into himself and flew away.
After Dr Velo left, Blitzkrieg recovered. The
heroes tracked down the Devious Doctor of Velocity down to an abandoned
warehouse. There they captured Dr. Velo. In the base was a lab for creating
chemical compounds and large water tanks were found. It appeared that he was
experimenting on the water in the tanks. There was a work bench in the corner
which had all the tools needed for weapon repair. Lionheart recognized that Dr
Velo was attempting modify a large pistol into a device that fired something
other than bullets. The device and bag of coins that Dr. Velo was carrying at
water treatment plant weren't found. There were other ways to leave unseen from
the abandoned warehouse than the way the heroes had entered.
Blitzkrieg shuffled uncomfortably...Dr
Wildman recognized it was interminably hard for the Marvel of Momentum to wait,
but all credit to him he contained himself well. In contrast Evergreen stood
rooted in quiet serenity. Time passed very differently for the incarnate Forest
Spirit. William broke the silence: "I'll go to his lair...I suspect my
scientific skills might help unravel the mysterious motives of what he was
attempting - and I can draw upon more than human senses to understand what is
going on beyond this.” He tailed the conversation off.
After a brief discussion it was agreed that
Blitzkrieg and Dr Wildman would head off to the Water Plant whilst Evergreen
had another word with Dr Velo.
With a
gesture Dr Wildman shape shifts into a powerful falcon and takes to the skies. The
German speedster matched his speed to the bird of prey and after a while
skidded to a halt at the perimeter of the plant. The falcon became human and
the two men crossed through the police line entering the deserted building.
"Can I make a suggestion
Blitzkrieg?" Dr Wildman asked. "Can we go in at normal speed; there
is a chance that at super speed any clues might be disturbed in your
wake?" The German nodded in agreement. Looking around them both they
agreed that the tanks of chemicals were not large enough to affect an enormous
volume of water. Clearly the sinister scientist of speed needed access to a
body of water - hence the plant - but upon further investigation of the pipe
works and valves, Dr Velo seems to have been testing the chemical upon the
contained untreated supply rather than the treated water.
"I wonder...." With another gesture
Dr Wildman shifts shape again, this time into a wolf. It was unsettling for
Blitzkrieg to watch the canine carnivore investigate the plant with such human
thoroughness and diligence. There was a low growl as the wolf bared its fangs
followed by a sharp bark, almost an expression of frustration. Another minute
passed and wolf returned to man, but the expression of frustration was etched all
over the Englishman's face.
"We've been had!" The shadows under
the Druid's hood darkened and Blitzkrieg thought he heard thunder as the
Englishman spoke. "Velo was here, multiple times...but weeks ago. His
scent is distinctive, decayed over time but it's definitely him. Who definitely
isn't him is the man we put in custody...a very different flavor of man that
one! That explains how we captured him with relative ease and perhaps the
gun...Velo wouldn't need a gun he would simply charge an object with speed. I
can't believe we didn't see it!" Dr Wildman face palmed himself to give
action to his feelings.
"Well my friend, we need to get back to
our fake Dr Velo and see if he has any idea where the real deal is...and if
this was a test, where is he going to next...?"
And as the realization dawned on him:
"We'd better hurry; Evergreen may well be being led into a trap! What are
your feelings towards snakes may I ask?"
Dr Wildman explained his plan was to change
into a small python and use its ability to constrict to hold on tight as the
Fleetfooted Frank sprints at full speed to where the false Dr Velo is being
incarcerated
Blitzkrieg was willing and carried Dr Wildman
as he ran to the prison.
They found Evergreen talking to Dr Velo, who was
admitting guilt by association but swore that he wasn't Dr. Velo
"Well I guess we need to work with what
we do know."
The three heroes met outside the interview
room. It was clear the imposter was going to be of limited help going forward.
"What we know is that Dr Velo is
attempting to introduce a chemical agent to a body of water. He's done it on a
small scale and is probably looking to 'go big' somewhere. We need those
chemists to tell us what that chemical is and what it does. We then need to see
if those components have been bought or stolen recently. He would need to
transport them in bulk and would need an isolated area like a pumping station
or a dam to introduce them to a water supply."
Dr Wildman continued to muse:
"Blitzkrieg perhaps you could speed up the chemical investigation...or at
least see what they have discovered? Evergreen, could you narrow down areas
where large supplies of chemicals can be introduced to water supplies? I'll
research transport options...I’ll have a better idea of what to look for when
we know the nature of the chemical agents Dr Velo is working with."
"Does that feel like a plan?" He
asked the others.
Evergreen replied, "No need to research
transport. I came here on the Crusader Shuttle. I can take us anywhere we need
to go.
Blitzkrieg said, "While I do have super
speed I can't transfer that to chemical processes used to analysis their
chemical breakdown. So I won't be able to speed up the investigation but I will
be glad to see what they have discovered."
Evergreen said, "Yes, I will start
narrowing down possible candidates."
With the plan in place Dr Wildman went with
Blitzkrieg to the Police forensic scientists investigating the chemicals. He
worked with a detective to check out chemical thefts or purchases, refined by
any clues discovered by the analysis of the samples found in the water plant,
and cross them with transportation activity...especially if there is specific
transport requirements.
Dr. Wildman and scientists were able to
identify majority chemical compounds. These were not restricted in access by
the German Government so the Detective explained there wasn't any way to trace
purchases and they didn't have any specific transportation requirements.
Because of their nature, they wouldn't be allowed on a commercial flight but
they can be flown by cargo plane without requiring authorization or tracking.
There was one specific chemical compound they couldn't identify but when it was
ran through the database a Ministry of Defense a marker was returned. The
chemical compound was MOD restricted and controlled. The Detective made the
sound of a defeated sigh. "Whether Dr. Velo stole his original sample or
any further samples we will never know. The MOD does not record thefts with the
police. I can put in a request for assistance in the investigation but I have
no idea how quickly they will respond."
Evergreen contacted Dr. Wildman and
Blitzkrieg. "I have to talk to you immediately." Once the heroes were
together, Evergreen said, "We have to leave immediately. While I was communing
with nature in attempt to determine where Dr. Velo might be, I discovered that
one of the Five Ancients is attempting to enter our realm. There will have to
be a ceremony performed soon to aid it. We have to stop the ceremony. It is in
the Florida Everglades in America. Please will you aide me?"
Blitzkrieg said he wished he could but he
must stay here and support the Dr. Velo investigation. He will be a critical
witness in the case against Dr. Velo's associate and the MOD may want to speak
with him as well because of what they learned about the chemical."
Evergreen looked to Dr. Wildman, "Will
you come with me?"
"Of course I'll come." Dr Wildman
was surprised at the urgency of his woodland companion...the situation must be
dire if her attentions were distracted from the concerns of the restless water
spirit here in mainland Europe.
"Blitzkrieg my friend, we leave you to
attend a more pressing matter - forgive us. I will return as soon as I am able.
Mother Nature calls...so to speak...Good Luck!"
Dr Wildman traveled back with Evergreen in
the shuttle using the time to ask who the 5 Ancients are. Evergreen explained
that much isn’t known about them other than the Five Ancients all desire the
ultimate downfall of Man. They reside in a different dimension than Man’s. A
dimensional gateway has to be opened for the Ancient to enter Man’s dimension.
There has to be a physical being to receive the Ancient. A mystical construct
has to be prepared to be the receptacle. The ceremony opens the dimensional gate
and places the Ancient in the construct. The mystical construct will be
maintained by magical artifact. We will need to destroy it to send the Ancient
back to its dimension.
Evergreen and Dr Wildman landed on the
outskirts of the Florida Everglades. Using both of their magical perception
skills they were quickly able to identify where the ceremony was occurring. The
heroes stealthy entered the Indian Burial Mound. There they saw several Indians
performing the ceremony. There was an Indian playing the drum but there was
something wrong. Dr Wildman realized the drum playing Indian didn’t smell. It
was a spirit. Since they were too late to stop the ceremony, the only thing
they could do now was disrupt it. Evergreen signaled for Dr Wildman to maintain
his human form so he could use the Cowl of Storms.
Evergreen attacked first. Plants grew up in the
middle of the chanting Indians. The animated plants covered the mouths of the
chanters cutting off their sounds mid phrase. Dr Wildman reached out using the
Cowl of Storms but his attempt to change the weather was blocked! Among the
Indians was a magic user that could control weather too. Dr. Wildman looked to
see if he could determine who it was. Across the Indian Burial Mound, he
spotted Shaman.
While Dr. Wildman wasn’t successful in
changing the weather, he was successful in his ultimate goal. He had disrupted
the ceremony. The only part of the ceremony that hadn’t stopped was the
drumming. Shaman’s abrupt stopping of his incantation, to prevent the weather change,
had created a mystical backlash. The lack of chanting amplified the backlash.
The Ancient bellowed in frustration and anger as its physical aspect entered
into the mystical construct but it’s mental aspect was caught in the backlash
and sent in to an unknown destination. The magical construct of mud and earth
from the burial mound stirred. It screamed in frustration. It could think and
talk but its IQ was severely diminished.
The Indian Spirits flew around magical
construct trying to calm it. The Indian Spirit with an Amulet around its neck
called out, “Hurry Shaman, contain this sludge, without its complete mental
aspect it can quickly rampage ruining all my plans for revenge. I, Asi-vaholo,
will take care of these interlopers!”
Shaman turned toward the Ancient. He put his
hands on the head of the mystical construct, calming it.
Asi-vaholo waved his hands, the amulet around
his neck glowed, and he spoke in a language that Dr. Wildman could not understand.
A fine red glow appeared around Asi-vaholo hands then released beams toward both
Evergreen and Dr. Wildman.
When the beams struck them both, their bodied
turned rigid. Their skinned transmuted into wood.
=======END
OF FLASHBACK=======
Manta-Man told Evergreen and Dr. Wildman that
there was a robbery of a Military base not far from here. Chemicals were
stolen. That was about 5 days ago. The New Crusaders believe the Ancient was
part of the robbery. The mystical construct was assisting another person, called
Swamp Rat. Swamp Rat called it Sludge. The New Crusaders had destroyed the
mystical construct called Sludge. With the breaking of the Amulet, the Ancient
was no longer a threat.
It appeared that Evergreen and Dr. Wildman
had been trapped for 2 weeks in the Indian Burial Mound.
Manta-Man asked Dr. Wildman if he would
continue to assist them.
Manta-Man said to the New Crusaders, “We have
captured two associates of whatever is going on here. We now know what they
wanted the chemicals for. What should we do next?”

Of course, he will share.

The skink will focus offensive attack, in his

if that fails.
Chuck

For Skink under the game rules fighting
defensively is Skink's hit and run style, so I will go with that unless you
object. Is there a specific weapon you want to attack first? Bow, Spear, or
Drum.
Thanks

OOC: Tom, how does the Gate spell work? Would
I have enough memory of the Water Treatment plant to recall in enough detail to
use the spell to get there?
Dr Wildman will wait for an agreement with
the other two and then Gate to the Water Treatment Plant or change into a Peregrine
Falcon and fly there as quick as possible.
---------------------------------------------------------------------
Since the location isn't memorized then it is
an Intelligence Save. Dr Wildman starts with 12 or less on 1d20. Since he was
there recently (last 48 hours) I will give a bonus of +3. If Dr. Wildman pushed
his power (spent 7 Power Points instead of 5) he would get a +2. So he would
start with 17 or less. Looking at the range penalties from where he is, it
would be a -8. So Dr Wildman needs to roll a 9 or less on a 1d20.
In a tabletop game the player rolls the dice
but for the PBEM, the GM make all the rolls. This allows me to weave the
success into the story for the player who doesn't know if they were successful
or not until either I write by what happened or it is included in the issue.
This also doesn't leave me as a GM waiting on a email telling what the dice
roll was or the emailing of txt files of the dice roll history that different
dice roller websites offer.
Does Dr. Wildman want to take the change of a
failed roll and the portal scattering to a different location or will he turn
into a falcon and fly to the Water Treatment plant.
Both Blitzkrieg and Evergreen agree with Dr.
Wildman going to the lab. If Dr. Wildman changes into a Falcon he and
Blitzkrieg will go to the lab. If a portal is opened all three will go to the
lab.
Thanks
Tom

Thanks for that, really helpful.
So it's the shapes shifting into a falcon and
flying back to the water treatment plant option please.

scene understanding from Human vision and any animal with full sense of smell.
His wolf form has acute sense as well, so the can track all of Dr. Velo's
movement completely throughout the water treatment plant. So here is what is
learned that you can weave into your response choosing the appropriate form
[Vision - Human; Sense - Full Sense Smell Animal; Track - Wolf] If you don't
want to write or don't have time just let me know what animals you want to use
and I will write it.}

Vision - Dr Velo needed access to water supply. He couldn't affect it from a
distance. Something had to deliver the chemical to water.
Smell - Dr Velo that they fought at the water
treatment plant was not the same Dr. Velo captured in the abandoned warehouse.
They had completely different smells.
Tracking
- This wasn't Dr. Velo's visit to the water treatment plant. He came multiple
times in the weeks leading up to the attack.
Intelligence
- This wasn't really an attack but a trial run. The tanks in Dr. Velo's lab
were too small to verify if the chemical worked. He needed to test on a larger
water supply that was why he was at the water treatment plant. He was testing
the untreated water not the treated water that would be released to the German
people.
Intelligence
- Where did Dr. Velo go? He needed access to a large water supply to continue
his tests but it would had to be an isolated location. GM Note: This is the
failed roll, so Dr. Wildman will need to work with the other heroes to see
where Dr. Velo went, if he can convince them that they have a patsy in
custody.}

Spirit. William broke the silence: "I'll go to his lair...I suspect my
scientific skills might help unravel the mysterious motives of what he was
attempting - and I can draw upon more than human senses to understand what is
going on beyond this..".He tailed the conversation off.
After a brief discussion it was agreed that
Blitzkrieg and Dr Wildman would head off to the Water Plant whilst Evergreen
had another word with Dr Velo. With a gesture Dr Wildman shape shifts into a
powerful falcon and takes to the skies. The German speedster matched his speed
to the bird of prey and after a while skidded to a halt at the perimeter of the
plant. The falcon became human and the two men crossed through the police line
entering the deserted building.
"Can I make a suggestion
Blitzkrieg?" Dr Wildman asked. "Can we go in at normal speed, there
is a chance that at super speed any clues might be disturbed in your
wake?" The German nodded in agreement. Looking around them both they agreed
that the tanks of chemicals were not large enough to affect an enormous volume
of water. Clearly the sinister scientist of speed needed access to a body of
water - hence the plant - but upon further investigation of the pipe works and
valves, Dr Velo seems to have been testing the chemical upon the contained
untreated supply rather than the treated water.
OOC: My assumption is that police chemists
have samples of the water and are working out what the chemical agent is.
Another minute
passed and wolf returned to man, but the expression of frustration was etched
all over the Englishman's face.
"We've been had!" The shadows under
the Druid's hood darkened and Blitzkrieg thought he heard thunder as the
Englishman spoke. "Velo was here, multiple time...but weeks ago. His scent
is distinctive, decayed over time but it's definitely him. Who definitely isn't
him is the man we put in custody...a very different flavor of man that one!
That explains how we captured him with relative ease and perhaps the gun...Velo
wouldn't need a gun he would simply charge an object with speed. I can't
believe we didn't see it!" Dr Wildman face palmed himself to give action
to his feelings.
"Well my friend, we need to get back to
our fake Dr Velo and see if he has any idea where the real deal is...and if
this was a test, where is he going to next...?"
And as the realization dawned on him:
"We'd better hurry, Evergreen may well be being led into a trap!...what
are your feelings towards snakes may I ask?"
If Blitzkrieg is accommodating Dr Wildman
will change into a small python and use its ability to constrict to hold on
tight as the Fleetfooted Frank sprints at full speed to where the false Dr Velo
is being incarcerated.
----------------------------------------------------------------------
Blitzkrieg is willing and carried Dr Wildman
as he ran to the prison.
They will find Evergreen talking to Dr Velo,
who is admitting guilt by association but swears that he isn't Dr. Velo
Thanks

"Well I guess we need to work with what
we do know."
The three heroes met outside the interview
room. It was clear the imposter was going to be of limited help going forward.
"What we know is that Dr Velo is
attempting to introduce a chemical agent to a body of water. He's done it on a
small scale and is probably looking to 'go big' somewhere. We need those
chemists to tell us what that chemical is and what it does. We then need to see
if those components have been bought or stolen recently. He would need to
transport them in bulk and would need an isolated area like a pumping station
or a dam to introduce them to a water supply."
Dr Wildman continued to muse: "Blitzkrieg
perhaps you could speed up the chemical investigation...or at least see what
they have discovered? Evergreen, could you narrow down areas where large
supplies of chemicals can be introduced to water supplies? I'll research
transport options...ill have a better idea of what to look for when we know the
nature of the chemical agents Dr Velo is working with."
"Does that feel like a plan?" He
asks the others.
Assuming the plan is acceptable Dr Wildman
will go with Blitzkrieg to the Police forensics or wherever the scientists are
investigating the chemicals. He will work with a detective ( if there is one
there) to check out chemical thefts or purchases, refined by any clues
discovered by the analysis of the samples found in the water plant, and cross
them with transportation activity...especially if there is specific transport
requirements.

Evergreen replied, "No need to research
transport. I came here on the Crusader Shuttle. I can take us anywhere we need
to go.
Blitzkrieg said, "While I do have super
speed I can't transfer that to chemical processes use to analysis their
chemical breakdown. So I won't be able to speed up the investigation but I will
be glad to see what they have discovered."
Evergreen said, "Yes, I will start
narrowing down possible candidates."

Dr. Wildman and scientists were able to identify
majority chemical compounds. These were not restricted in access by the German
Government so the Detective explain there wasn't any way to trace purchases and
they didn't have any specific transportation requirements. Because of their
nature, they wouldn't be allowed on a commercial flight but they can be flow by
cargo plane without requiring authorization or tracking. There was one specific
chemical compound they couldn't identify but when it was ran through the
database a Ministry of Defense a marker was returned. The chemical compound was
MOD restricted and controlled. The Detective made the sound of a defeated sigh.
"Whether Dr. Velo stole his original sample or any further samples we will
never know. The MOD does not record thefts with the police. I can put in a
request for assistance in the investigation but I have no idea how quickly they
will respond."
Evergreen contacted Dr. Wildman and
Blitzkrieg. "I have to talk to you immediately." Once the heroes were
together, Evergreen said, "We have to leave immediately. While I was
communing with nature in attempt to determine where Dr. Velo might be, I
discovered that one of the Five Ancients is attempting to enter our realm.
There will have to be a ceremony performed soon to aid it. We have to stop the
ceremony. It is in the Florida Everglades in America. Please will you aide
me?"
Blitzkrieg said he wish he could but he must
stay here and support the Dr. Velo investigation. He will be a critical witness
in the case against Dr. Velo's associate and the MOD may want to speak with him
as well because of what they learned about the chemical."
Evergreen looked to Dr. Wildman, "Will
you come with me?"
Thanks

"Of course I'll come." Dr Wildman
was surprised at the urgency of his woodland companion...the situation must be
dire if her attentions were distracted from the concerns of the restless water
spirit here in mainland Europe.
"Blitzkrieg my friend, we leave you to
attend a more pressing matter - forgive us. I will return as soon as I am able.
Mother Nature calls...so to speak...Good Luck!"
Dr Wildman will travel back with Evergreen in
the shuttle using the time to ask who the 5 Ancients are (if he doesn't know
already.)
