is a Fog of War effect in the Tomb}
Adamas walked down the wooden stairs. Red
Hawk went next then CX followed him. They reached the stone floor. Adamas told
them, “I can see that the wall on the far side of the room was not attached to
another room. I can’t see much further than that to be able to tell if there
was a room further down or not without really concentrating.”
Red Hawk moved out of the line. He said he
had vibrated through the stone before. He could try it again.
Adamas looked toward the open doorway to his
left lead to a hallway.
CX followed as Adamas lead the team into the
hallway. When Red Hawk stepped out of line, CX took his place. He knew he
couldn’t follow Red Hawk if he vibrated through the wall. CX’s sensors told him
the others were slowing down as they walked. He surmised that the darkness of
the tomb was affecting them. CX sensors were bouncing off the stone walks and
reflecting back at him. He had to shorten their range to keep from being
overloaded with false images.
When Centurion X entered the corridor he saw
it was lined with ancient hieroglyphics. The walls, ceiling and floor were all
entirely covered. He could not read them and CX thought if he spent time on it
he might be able to figure them out.
