The Alpha Predator Megalopolis

Super Powers and Super Skills:
1) Transformation: Power Activation: The character normally has no powers except Transformation. When he transforms, he receives all the other powers he initially received plus an additional power or two inherent to the Transformation (roll two more powers on whichever tables desired, plus an additional Weakness; the Weakness may be discarded if one other power is dropped as well). It takes one action to Transform or change back, at no Power cost.

   A) Animal/Plant Powers: Mammal (Cat, Wolf, Ape, Bear, Man)

      3. Natural Weaponry: Claws: +3 to hit, +6 damage, Killing Attack!
      4. Speed Bonus: Cat-like Speed: +40" to running, climbing, leaping, and falling*.
(* Everyone can fall Agility inches and take no damage if they make an Agility save on d20, as per the rules.  The creature can extend the safe fall distance by another 40" and, if he makes his saving throw, can still "land on his feet")        
      5. Special: Altered Physiology: Add 40 lbs to weight, 3 inches to height. Fur, hide, and muscle are so     thick that he is immune to Killing Attack effects. Third Eyelid makes him immune to Blinding attacks.
      6. Heightened Sense: Animal Sense: See the invisible. Detect emotions in others (like fear or treachery). Cat-like vision lets him see in near dark. Sense of hearing and smell are as keen as a wolf's. Multiply both Detects by 3.
      7. Diminished Senses: Color Blind.

  B) Heightened Expertise: +4 to hit with HtH (claws and fangs)

  C) Weakness: Prejudice: The creature appears more beast than man.

Weakness: Low Self Control: The character cannot always control the Transformation! It can be triggered by nightfall, adrenaline rush, or GM whim!

Note:
Intrepid reporter Clark Thomas blew the lid off crime in Megalopolis, and then the crime lords came for him. Escaping an assassination attempt, Thomas fled into the University campus. The hit men caught him in the Evolutionary Sciences Lab and hurled him into an experimental genetic reactor!  The resulting explosion awakened within him the dormant, vestigial DNA sequences that all men have, triggering transformations that can devolve him into a savage, animal creature! Presumed dead, Thomas now avenges himself by hunting the city’s criminal predators as… Man Beast!

Legal Status: Presumed dead by the law and the underworld. Has a new, false identity.

Family and Contacts: Thomas is divorced and childless. His parents passed away years ago.
-Brother and sister who live in California. He secretly notified them that he is alive and in hiding.
-Professor at University who found him alive after explosion.
-Policemen he used to work with as a reporter.
-Criminal Informants he used to use when he was a reporter.
-Local politicians he used to interview when he was a reporter.

Enemies: The Crime Lords who tried to kill him.
