Quest: We have The Cure - Issue 22

Location: Dr. Avery’s Mansion

Outside a shadowy figure walked across the lawn. She was checking to make sure the man in the trench was okay. To her horror she discovered he was dead.  Her medical training allowed her to easily determine that death had not been recent but a long time ago. She slowly back away from the unmoving undead and moved cautiously toward the mansion. “What had Dr. Arcane gotten her involved in?” she wondered.

Slowly she lifted into the air. She flew cautiously toward the Mansion following the path of destruction the undead creature had taken to get here. Through the large hole in the exterior wall she could see other figures in the household and they were fighting each other

The library wall had a gaping hole from Chainsaw having sailed through it after the tremendous blast issued by Adamas.  The shadowy figure now floated in through this unkempt opening.  Adorning a bright green and black outfit, the unknown female moved in purposefully without touching the ground.  She was floating a few inches above the debris and went over to man who looked the most out of place for the current situation.  “Sir are you alright?” she asked Elwood as he sat on the floor with his back leaning on the one remaining couch in the room.  “I think it best if you go out the way I came in.  My powers are unstable at best and I wouldn’t mean to cause you harm.”

Elwood looked up at this newcomer with slight surprise, and a smile came to his face while his eyebrows rose. Purposefully, he placed his flask back inside his tweed jacket pocket.  Shifting his position and bringing himself to his feet, Elwood spoke as he rose, “Well, I thank you young lady.  Pardon me while I get up.”  He stooped a bit, brushing the wrinkles off of his pants and drying any moisture that might have been on his hands and when he stood up straight he and the woman were roughly eye to eye.  Elwood was pleased with what he saw.  “Ahem.  You have chosen a very interesting moment to make your way into this party my dear, but you said something about leaving the way you came in.  My dear, if I could come and go the way you do I must say that I would be quite pleased with myself.  Yes quite pleased, eh Harvey?”  Elwood looked across the room and saw the ominous Manslaughter and stout worthy Adamas ready for melee, the heroic Agent America lining Manslaughter up in his gun site and there among them was his best friend Harvey.  “Now I can’t keep calling you ‘young lady’ so allow me to introduce myself. I am Elwood P. Dowd.  Here is my card.”  He swiftly grabbed a business card from his pocket and handing it to her he continued, “Don’t call this number, it doesn’t work.  If you should call me, use this other number.”  Extending his right hand with the card and gazed pleasingly at the woman’s face.  “If you wish me to leave, I will do so gladly especially if I could have the company of such a lovely person as yourself.  Of course I would not wish to be rude to the rest of our party attendees.” Looking around again, Elwood searched for approval or disapproval.

Agent America said to her, friendly enough: "Hold on a minute. Identify yourself."

She replied, “I’m known as The Cure.” She showed him her Superhero License which supported her claim.

Agent America thought-broadcast for everyone with an amulet to hear: "Doc, you expecting company?"
Dr Avery responded, "Maybe, I invited two more people. I have no idea when they will arrive or if they will even join us at all. They are named Magus and The Cure."

When Agent America saw her official hero ID listing her as The Cure, Agent America jumped down behind the desk, leveled the futuristic firearm at Manslaughter and fired twice.

ZOM! ZOMMM!

The first shot barely winged Manslaughter causing minimal damage. The second struck him perfectly in the chest. Manslaughter grunts in pain as he slammed through the library wall and the exterior wall. Manslaughter flew 50 feet across the Mansion lawn smashing into the drive way.

Agent America thought at Doc and the Team via the amulet thing: "What happened to Catalyst?"

"NOOOOOOO!" Shouted Adamas, as he saw Catalyst crumpled to the ground.   Even at this distance, it was obvious he was gone.

From Adamas’ reaction Agent America knew the fate of their teammate. Again, through the amulet he thought to everyone wearing one: "All right. Adamas, back off. Elwood and I can finish this clown. Please go outside and help DarkStar take down Samhain... from the air, at your maximum range. And please scan the area; make sure that lightning strike was natural, and not thrown by the Tarot Masters."

Rage filled the Amnesiac Avenger and he ignored the command given by his new leader.  He flew out of the Mansion after the killer clown with as much velocity as he could gain in the short distance.  At this point Adamas had very little concern for his personal safety, focusing only on keeping this danger away from his teammates.

Whoosh!

Adamas in his fury missed grabbing Manslaughter. He soared into the sky to position himself to attack again.

Manslaughter reached to grab his mask to prevent it from flying off his face. For a few seconds an unseen force attempted to wrestle it from the undead monsters face but Manslaughter held it tight.

When the mask stopped moving, Manslaughter dropped his hands. Looking around he spotted a decorated concrete Spire, he ran to it. He grabbed it at the base and the middle. He lifted it as warrior would lift a javelin. He turned to face Adamas and threw it at him.

WHAM!

The Spire struck Adamas in the chest. It was smashed into little pieces as if it was of no consequence to Adamas, which it wasn’t. {GM Note: 17 points of damage against Adamas’ Invulnerability of 48).

On the other side of the Mansion next to the swimming pool, Samhain ran back inside. He charged Agent America from behind. The Man from Medusa noticed the silent monster in time to roll over the desk to avoid the haymaker that was intended to crater his skull in.

Earlier Commander Rose was tossed through the air. His body hit the mansion’s pool sinking like a stone to the bottom. Twisting his body to face back toward his opponent, DarkStar bent his knees as his feet settled on the pool’s bottom. “Well that could have went better”. As his eyes attempted to acquire his target the corporate crime-fighter devised and discarded three different angles of attack on his undead antagonist. Flexing his legs in preparation to attack, the Team’s blue behemoth hardly noticed the ease with which he was holding his breath.

Focusing his thoughts once again through the Team’s amulet Pietor don't be dense. Of course you can't return yet. Search the grounds with the amulet and whatever other means at your disposal. Cybil will initiate an emergency override once this storm clears enough and do the same.”

Doc, you there? I have an idea about these Geonesians. Do you think they might be worth approaching as an ally against the Null Masters? Oh … and when we find her, tell Donnah I’ll have the pool repaired.” With bone and sinew the strength of black adamantium, DarkStar shattered the pool’s concrete foundation as he sprung upward, propelling himself from the bottom. A spray of water surrounded the cerulean Commander as erupted from the pool and landed. Sprinting back into to the Mansion he yelled, “You’ll have to try to throw me a lot farther than that to be rid of me you panty wearing wanna be goth girl.”

"You're the only thing that stands between me finding Donnah and Miss Ellie, Sammy. Time to Turn you into a "deadman walking"

DarkStar smashed into the back of Samhain with a bone crushing tackle. They both crashed into the desk smashing it.

***Whoump***

The Cure stared in shock as she saw DarkStar and Samhain disappear before her eyes.

As Elwood yelled out to his friend Harvey seeking approval to be led out of the hole in the wall, Mary turned her head to the action and noticed that no one responded. "My name is Mary Mr. Dowd it will be my pleasure to escort you to safety".

Jumping into the fray was not the smart thing to do, as a superhero the safety of civilians should always be our first priority so getting Mr. Dowd out of harm’s way was definitely her’s first and foremost. "Ready yourself Mr. Dowd, time to get you to safety, I hope you don't get air sick", she said with a chuckle.

Elwood quietly spoke, “Well, it seems OK to go.  Lead the way my dear, and let’s get to know each other.”

As Mary wrapped her arms gingerly but yet securely around the older gentleman’s waist, she thrust upward and forward, taking care not to hit max speed to make sure that Elwood was not too startled. As they passed through the hole in the wall, she raised her elevation, climbing higher and higher so that this way she could scan the area for a safe place to drop Mr. Dowd. "We can definitely conversate later, but I must get back to see where my help is needed". Before Elwood can get out a word, she burst into the air, readying herself for her first melee. She spotted an eerie looking man not far from the hole in the wall near the pool, knowing the limits of her latarium blast, she hovered above and behind out of his sight, readying herself for the attack.

BLAZT!

Her blast struck Manslaughter in the back hard. He was thrown forward for 25 feet, half way the distance from where Agent America was blasted him before. Slowly the undead monstrosity rose and turned to see what had hit him.

Inside the Mansion library, Agent America was preparing to leave when he heard something unexpected.

***Whoump***

Samhain and DarkStar reappeared in the exact same spot and position as they had left in.

{GM Note: Adamas’ boost to Invulnerability wore off at the end of this turn. He will start next turn with 24 points}

*** FLASHBACK ***
Location: Tibetan plateau [34.7°N 85.7°E]

***Whoump***

Two figures appeared from nowhere smashing into the frozen thundra. The larger Blue figure grappled the pale figure in a tackle as the two came to a stop on the ground.

As DarkStar smiled at the success of his plan, he felt a presence enter into his mind.

“What is your purpose of intruding China’s sovereign soil?

“Do not worry about trying to close your thoughts from me .I am ‘Beautiful Memory of Celestial Laughter’ and you will share all with me, Joshua DarkStar.”

“Ah, so this is your plan: ‘It should take Samhain almost a month to reach civilization from here. Cybil can keep tabs on him through sat-surveillance. Maybe you and a FISH team can go pick him up. CHESS obviously isn't equipped to keep him under wraps’.”

“So this is American plot to invade beloved homeland or maybe this a double blind CHESS scheme to locate the Talons of the Jade Emperor Tibetan Headquarters?”

“Amazing you hide who paid you to bring monster here but that of no consequence the outcome will be the same. You both will go back to where you came from.”

With profound shock, from the command of a single thought, DarkStar was forced to activate his teleportation ability

Is the new arrival seen by Elwood or Harvey?
Is the death of Catalyst evident to any of us?

Michael
--------------------------------------------------
GM:

Since Catalyst was wearing an amulet, it is known by all that he was hurt really badly and that he isn't responding.

Since Catalyst was a StarCorp comm unit, everyone knows from the feedback that the comm unit was fried electrically.

Adamas using his Ethereal Vision knows that Catalyst is dead.

Agent America, Harvey, and Elwood know nothing beyond the first two items.

DarkStar knows that the amount of electricity it takes to fry a comm unit is enough to kill Catalyst (Successful Detect Hidden roll).

OOC: Whatever we do, can we come up with a plan to help DarkStar grab Samhain and teleport him somewhere? I want these fights over with. Something about fighting Zombies and Vampires always gives me the creeps.

What, if anything do we notice about the shadowy figure?  It could be interesting if we see her inspect Chainsaw.

DarkStar

Had a question concerning DarkStar's response in the next issue.  I was contemplating DS's next action and wanted to make sure I was interpreting how/if it would work. I should have just tried having DS grapple Samhain last turn I guess, but since I didn't.

I thought the visual for this was really kind of cool and was hoping it might work how I'm picturing it.

If DarkStar teleports out of the pool, he can "carry" 3,406 gallons of water with him. That's about a 3 meter sphere of water I was hoping to teleport DS above Samhain with - landing behind him, with about 14 tons of water crashing into him at the same time ... that's just movement   ... then I'd like to have DS make a dual attack against him either hammering him similar to last time or stomping him into the dirt if the homemade tsunami was able to hit him hard enough to knock him down. I'd say it was a cheesy way to get in an extra 3d10 attack on the man in black, if it weren't for the fact I'm sort of proud of using Samhain throwing DS into the pool and turning it into a positive.

Let me know what you think please. If I'm pushing the game play boundaries to far let me know

Thanks
John
-----------------------------------------------------
GM: Hi, I have gotten back from Christmas with the In-Laws. They didn't have their internet working so I have been in the dark since Saturday.

On the teleportation, it is something he can do but DS has to be inside the 3 meter sphere as well. That is how DS is touching the water. So Samhain would suffer a 3d10 attack of water slamming into him and DS  would suffer a 3d10 attack of being slammed to the ground by the water.

The water would then rush out as an area attack with 2d8 to whoever is within 1", 1d12 for 5" and 1d6 (eq. to falling damage) for 10".
Anyone damage taken to Hit Points will result in double value of knockback to represent the water sweeping them away.

Let me know if you need anything else to decide whether to do this action or not.

Thanks
Tom

The Cure

First off... Love the comic book feel. The Cure looks around who does she see? Is there anyone to interact with? Does she see the "other" dead body? If not she would float to the mansion looking for the good Dr. Arcane.

DarkStar

PC: Thanks pal. Hope you had a joyous holiday with the family.

The picture in my head was a lot prettier than the math. (lol) Was hoping the Team my start using combat tactics this tussle but guess it’s still too soon. I mean did you see Jeff's "help" (LOL) regular comedian that boy

If I chose to hold my Action can I give you the two most likely "actions" DS would choose to use to interrupt Samhain as he takes his Action?

Thanks Kimosabe
John
---------------------------------------------------------
GM

Yes you can hold your action and give two choices of actions based on Samhain's action with the action interrupting his. Please remember DarkStar is at the bottom of the pool and the storm is limiting his sensors. Pick situations he could easily see or a detect hidden role would be required.

Formerly Catalyst

From a 'bonus To-Hit' point of view I believe Jeff's right on this one John. I made mention of this If I recall correctly in Catalyst's last response as well. The reason I had mentioned it in his response ( and now Jeff here ) wasn't to dictate to you the terms under which DarkStar should conduct his turn, but rather the way he would end up getting the best bonus To-Hit. An attack from behind would yield a +4 To-Hit whereas an attack from the side or above only a +2 . . . but I could be wrong on that.

From a 'dialogue / dramatic writing' point of view I would say I would go with the attack from above or 'Death From Above' as I would normally refer to it lol. It would definitely look cooler to see the 'Big Blue Teleporter' drop out of the sky and lay the hurt down on to Samhain instead of just seeing him appear behind him and just drop an Earth shattering hay-maker or something on his undead ass. I've never been a big fan of the character, but wasn't Wolverine always trying to pull off something like this? Always trying to jump off a building or something and then come screaming down from above with both sets of claws out to his sides - definitely a scary sight.

So I guess it boils down to which is more important to you as a player - To-Hit bonuses or aesthetics. Me personally . . . in this situation . . . I'd go for the +4 :P

- Kev
-----------------------------------------------------------------
DarkStar

Wow seriously thanks guys. I've been trying to have DS make most of his attacks either from behind (the attack on Samhain in the library) or as vividly described, Death from Above (out on the lawn). Tom considers it pretty much part of his normal "to hit" set-up, so I've been trying to keep come up with ways to keep it fresh. Sounds like it might be working. Thanks again.

Love the Battletech reference btw
John
-----------------------------------------------------------------
DarkStar
PS:  Attacks from above or below get a +4 bonus to hit if the attacker is unaware. I assume Tom normally gives DS this bonus. I'm sure as a player fighting a teleporter I'd have to tell the GM I was preparing for an attack from either above or behind - assuming that opens up a better chance to be hit from the side or front than normal. I mean you can only really focus so many places at any one time right? Yes, I've given this some thought, as I expect Tom will be having DarkStar dueling with another teleporter in the future. For a visual of this kind of battle I highly recommend the movie Jumper

John
-----------------------------------------------------------------
Formerly Catalyst

I just checked my rulebook and you're 110% right. My apologies - I would have sworn that it was only a +2 for attacking from above - I don't know why I thought that. Well . . . never mind me . . . carry on ;)

GM

The Cure can see through the damage in the building to the library. So she sees the room with Manslaughter, Elwood, Adamas, and Agent America in it.  She can't see Harvey (his invisibility, if he is even real).

She can't see the pool area.

Regards,
Tom
---------------------------------------------------------------------
The Cure

She flies in next to Elwood. Since he would be the only non-super powered looking person in the room to see if he needs help. After a quick talk with Elwood I'll make my next action.
---------------------------------------------------------------------
The Cure

The Cure to Elwood "Sir are you alright?" "I think it best if you go out the way I came in. My powers are unstable at best and I wouldn't mean to cause you harm."
----------------------------------------------------------------------
DarkStar

One last question (yeah go ahead and believe that one if you want - lol)

I didn't want to assume - but looking at the map in the latest issue and checking out backyard pool dimensions I was thinking DarkStar could actually see Samhain while standing on the bottom of the pool. If he can then the teleport trick with the water is an option. If he can’t see him then he'll have to combine movement by jumping out of the pool "hulk-like" and then combat teleport

I'm cool either kimosabe - thanks
John
----------------------------------------------------------------
GM

You are correct that currently DS can easily see Samhain. I meant if you decided to halt his action to wait until Samhain moved and acted. It is possible that Samhain would move out of view and therefore DS not see the action he is holding for.

Yes, these are perfectly valid turn if then submission: If DarkStar can Samhain then the teleport trick with the water to attack Samhain. If he can't see him then DarkStar will jump out of the pool "hulk-like" and then combat teleport next to Samhain and dual punch him from behind.

<DarkStar: IC responses>
As Commander Rose is tossed through the air his body hits the mansion’s pool sinking like a stone to the bottom. Twisting his body to face back toward his opponent, DarkStar bends his knees as his feet settles on the pool’s bottom. Well that could have went better. His eyes already acquiring his target the corporate crime-fighter devises and discards three different angles of attack on his undead antagonist. Flexing his legs in preparation to attack, the Team’s blue behemoth hardly notices the ease with which he is holding his breath.

Focusing his thoughts once again through the Team’s amulet “Doc, you there? I have an idea about these Geonesians. Do you think they might be worth approaching as an ally against the Null Masters? Oh … and tell Donnah I’ll have the pool repaired.” With bone and sinew the strength of black adamantium, DarkStar shatters the pools concrete foundation as he springs upward, propelling himself from the bottom. A spray of water surrounds the cerulean Commander as erupts from the pool and lands within melee range of the sinister Samhain. “You’ll have to try to throw me a lot farther than that to be rid of me you panty wearing wanna be goth girl.”

<DarkStar: IC actions>
Here’s the plan. Using AA’s advice DS is attempting to goad Samhain into grappling with him again. If he does so the moment Samhain “hits”, DarkStar will interrupt with his Action and Teleport him to the world's most remote location, the Tibetan plateau [34.7°N 85.7°E]. If Samhain attempts a standard attack, or tries to avoid DS, DarkStar will interrupt with his Action and tackle him with the skill that earned him All-American as a linebacker at Annapolis, Teleporting him to the Tibetan plateau.

OOC: I think it’s time Joshua had a holding cell built at the testing grounds in Mexico. Something that can hold the likes of even the Mountain Man. That is unless Fear Penitentiary is willing to reserve a space for him to teleport bad guys into?

It can’t be impinging on their civil rights any more than beating the tar out of them and holding them until CHESS shows up. It would just seem to be a logical next step in his role as crime fighting planetary teleporting hero. Kinda cheesy but logical.
-----------------------------------------------------------------------
GM

GM: I would recommend DarkStar work with DSA and CHESS on the reserved holding space.  Because DarkStar is a licensed Superhero with DSA then his “beating the tar” out of person committing a crime and assisting police with his apprehension is not considered the crime of assault and battery where Joshua having his own set of holding cells is the crime of unlawful imprisonment.

This is the whole reason I instituted the DSA so heavily in Megalopolis. To keep Superheroes from the slippery slope of Warren Ellis/Mark Millar style characters.

OOC: very cool. I assumed as much although being who he is you know DS has a couple ideas (for the betterment of mankind - and maybe a buck or two) to take advantage of his unique abilities.

Harvey & Elwood

I was having some trouble with my email so you may get multiple copies of this note.

Hopefully everyone is enjoying a healthy and happy new year so far.  Talk to you guys soon.

OOC:
Harvey will use his movement to position himself to watch both Manslaughter and Elwood.  I am thinking in the lower right corner of the map.  From here, he will attempt to target Manslaughter’s mask again and have it come off of his head and use it to slap Manslaughter across the face.  Hit or miss, he will attempt to keep the mask floating in front of Manslaughter in hopes of getting some kind of reaction.

DarkStar

Hey Tom

Two things, one short, one not too long.

First, I assumed you would do it but wanted to be sure - DarkStar will be using both his chances to "attack" Samhain to carry out the teleport "attack".

Second - a) I was re-reading the last Issue and I realized Pietor thought DS was saying it was safe enough to come back and search for Donnah now. Which was not what he was trying to initiate. I was hoping to add this to DS's response to maintain the continuity that while DS has grown to think of Pietor as his extended family he also still finds the guy a bit irritating.

Second - b) I don't think I focused enough of the character's concern for Donnah this issue and if it's possible want to stress that a bit more. The more I write his character the more I think the big guy might have stronger feelings for her than just a little sister? Either way DS is extremely concerned with locating her and Miss Ellie.

Focusing his thoughts once again through the Team’s amulet Pietor don't be dense. Of course you can't return yet. Search the grounds with the amulet and whatever other means at your disposal. Cybil will initiate an emergency override once this storm clears enough and do the same. Doc, you there? I have an idea about these Geonesians. and hopefully ***Whoump***

I'm sure it's fairly obvious but it should take Samhain almost a month to reach civilization  from where DS drops him off. Cybil can keep tabs on him through sat-surveillance. Maybe DS and a FISH team can go pick him up  CHESS obviously isn't equipped to keep him under wraps.

Thanks John

Adamas

Well, I found lots of sents on other stuff, but never found it myself...

"NOOOOOOO!" Shouts Adamas, as he sees Catalyst crumple to the ground.   Even at this distance, it is obvious he is gone.  Rage fills the Amnesiac Avenger and he ignores the command given by his new leader.  He will fly into the killer clown with as much velocity as he can gain in the short distance.  His object will be to take him through the hole, out of the building, and then up.  As he moves he will pummel the Clown until he stops fighting or lets go.  At that point, Adamas will let him fall for a moment, and then drive him into the ground, pulling up at the last minute allowing the villian to strike the ground at terminal velocity.

At this point Adamas has very little concern for his personal safety, focusing only on getting this danger away from his teammates.

The Cure

OOC:
After making introductions to Elwood and the Cure convinces him to leave the room with her, she flies them through the hole in the library wall to a safe place away from the action, scouting the area the whole way. On her way back, I believe according to the maps, she will see Samhain, she will take to the air just enough distance height wise so she could attack from above and behind, saving her action to see what Dark Star does first.

IC:
As Elwood yells out to his friend Harvey seeking approval to be let out of the hole in the wall, Mary turns her head to the action and noticed that no one responds. "My name is Mary Mr. Dowd it will be my pleasure to escort you to safety". Jumping into the fray is not the smart thing to do, as a superhero the safety of civilians should always be our first priority so getting Mr. Dowd out of harm’s way is definitely first and foremost. "Ready yourself Mr. Dowd, time to get you to safety, I hope you don't get air sick", she says with a chuckle. As Mary wraps her arms gingerly but yet securely around the older gentleman’s waist, she thrusts upward and forward, taking care not to hit max speed to make sure that Elwood is not too startled. As they passed through the hole in the wall, she raises her elevation, climbing higher and higher so that this way she can scan the area for a safe place to drop Mr. Dowd. "We can definitely conversate later, but I must get back to see where my help is needed". Before Elwood can get out a word, she bursts into the air, readying herself for her first melee. She spots an eerie looking man not far from the hole in the wall near the pool, knowing the limits of her litarium blast, she hovers above and behind out of his sight, readying herself for the attack.

DarkStar

Hey hey Larry, cool to see you're posting Actions

(Be forewarned. The following is crafted to tickle your funny bone. Enter at your own risk)

OOC: Does DarkStar see someone fly by "kidnapping" Elwood as he prepares to launch himself from the pool?

Donnahs missing, Catalyst is dead, and some chick we don't know has "captured" the other rookie, and is flying the newest surviving Team member to God only knows where. I'm just saying there's the slightest of chances (in the best comicbook tradition) that good intentions can be misconstrued in the heat of battle.
 LOL

Hey just chalk it up to growing up in the 70s when Punisher fought Daredevil, who fought Spiderman, who fought ... well everyone as a rite of superhero passage. One of my absolute favorite comics ever is a fight between Iron Fist and Captain America in Avengers Mansion. And all of them stemmed from some goofy misunderstanding or miscommunication. I love those old comics.

Hey Team Leader! Howabout someone let Big Blue know what's going on through the amulet would ya? The poor boy's at the bottom of the pool for chist sakes

Welcome to the Team Larry, can't wait to see how all this shakes out and we get to see Magnus hit the scene

Regards
John

PS: Tom all the kidding aside DarkStar's responses and actions are locked in as of that last set of tweaks

Agent America

OOC

Hi Tom,

I'm reading these on my phone and can't access the game map. Does AA
hear the interchange between Larry's character and Dowd?

If yes, he'll say to her, friendly enough: "Hold on a minute. Identify
yourself."

He'll also thought-broadcast for everyone with an amulet to hear:
"Doc, you expecting company?"
----------------------------------------------------------------------------
GM

AA is close enough to hear the exchange between the flying woman and Dowd.

Dr Avery will respond, "Yes I am expecting two more people. A male named Magus and a female named The Cure."

Best
Tom

Agent America

When Agent America sees her official hero ID listing her as The Cure, he'll let her go without attempting to stop her.

OOC: I know their late inclusion is caused by real world stuff, so AA won't give Doc any grief over forgetting to tell us.

Is there a picture of The Cure yet?
---------------------------------------------------------------------------------
GM

Yes, it will be in next issue.

Formerly Catalyst

In case anyone was curious, here's Catalyst's response for the last issue:

IC:

"AAAaaahhhhHHH!!!! HOLY MOTHER OF GOODNESS!!! . . . . . . . . ugh . . . . . . . .

OC:

Rest in Peace Catalyst . . . and make room for MAGUS!

Talk to you guys later,

- Kev
