“Demolisher, would you attack the robots left
leg. If it can't stand, it may make it easier to take it out." The Bionic
Brawler said.
Demolisher stepped forward and spun his
sledgehammer in an intricate pattern with one hand. "Ok, this is something
I understand, starting with something big and breaking it into a bunch of
smaller pieces! The Silver Hammer of Sargantanas has really been looking
forward to this!" He had a big
smile on his face as he approached the robot and sensed the robot’s weakness.
The Demolisher located an access door in the
foot of the robot. This was the spot. The Demolisher hit it as hard as he
could. He smashed open the doorway creating a 10 foot wide hole.

StrikeForce entered the smashed access door
and look up the access tunnel inside of the robot.
Activating his comm, StrikeForce relayed to
the team, "From what I have been able to ascertain, this robot is a
super-sized version of the Cyberions that the Super Society fought a while
back. Maybe you remember them Adamas? I'm going to continue my climb upward to
see if I can cause some damage from the inside."
StrikeForce kept his senses active while
moving upward, looking for any way of disabling the Super-sized Cyberion.
StrikeForce reached the top of his climb.
There was a locked hatch. It had an electronic lock. The hatch was reinforced
steel. StrikeForce had room enough to strike or kick to physically force it
open.
[7] StrikeForce looked over the hatch and
decided to kick the hatch open.
BAM! The hatch flew open
from the force of StrikeForce’s kick.

needed 20 or less, rolled 17. He rolled 24 points of damage}
StrikeForce entered the E deck control center. He found 2 crew members manning the control panels.
[10] Demolisher continued to attack as best
he could!
WHAM!
His sledgehammer smashed armor, sending metal
pieces flying as he struck the Doomsday Robot’s leg again. Demolisher opened
another huge hole in the robot’s leg. It still stood but the damage was
obvious.

The police and local authorities had
responded quickly by moving the civilians away from the threat zone. Dr Wildman
kept one eye on the giant robot and the other trained on his companions who
were leaping into activity. He placed the first aid kit on the flat bed of a
dust covered pick up and watched the unfolding conflict.
Adamas had penetrated the skull of the
goliath of destruction like the human sling stone whilst Demolisher and others,
like the Argonauts of mythology, entered through the ankle of the mighty
colossus of chaos! The battle was taking an unexpected twist.

battle and medically intervene when necessary.

The Cyborg Crusader said. "Patty, you're
out here fighting side-by-side with us. I say that makes you every bit a
"REAL hero" as any one of us here is, and it is a privilege to fight
beside you. You know your abilities better than anyone, so you know how you can

Patty chuckled and winked at StrikeForce.
"Thanks, but I'm trying to keep a high opinion of you guys."
Laserfire said, "See Patty, I told you I
knew how to show you a good time. Let’s lite this thing up!"

you can get inside the Robot! Laserfire, Patty Plus, Dr Wildman, and myself
will continue to defense against its attacks and help to in the buildings get
to safety!"

[9] Doomsday Robot rotated both of its hands.
It didn’t appear to be affected by the orb of darkness surrounding its head.
It fired a missile from one of the fingers on
it left hand.
SWOOSH!
The missile flew by Manta-Man as his attempt
to counterblast it’s with his electrical bolt missed.
KA-BLAM!
Manta-Man flew out of the blast radius of the
missile.

Note: Manta-Man had to make a task check, rolling a d20 vs. his Defense of 4
plus 9, minus 3 to move 1 inch from which he was to get out of the blast
radius. He had to roll 10 or less, Manta-Man rolled a 6. He escaped the area
effect}
The missile contained a non standard
explosive. It was especially designed to destroy building. The building shook
and started to implode on one side.
[8] Patty had spent her time looking for
opportunities to defend property or reflect damage. She couldn’t do anything to
reflect the missile. She ran toward the other side of the building attempting
to escape the collapsing side.
Suddenly she was swept off her feet. Patty
turned her head to see that it was Skink who had grabbed her. Skink ran over
the side of the building and down it carrying Patty with him.
The Doomsday Robot fired a power blast from
the other finger on it right hand.
Laserfire countered blast it with his flame
blast. The two beams struck each other. There was a momentary pause as the two
energy blasts countered each other then …
BOOM!
The Doomsday Robot’s power blast overwhelmed
Laserfire’s flames engulfing him. Laserfire screamed in pain as he flew
backwards from being knocked back. He righted himself and stayed in flight. He
was hurt but could still continue to fight.

Note: Laserfire rolled 5 points of damage and the Doomsday Robot rolled 15
points of damage. As 15 greater than twice 5 points the Doomsday Robot’s power
blast gets through.
Doomsday
Robot’s power blast does 15 points of damage. Laserfire’s flame aura rolled a 3
providing 3 points of protection. 12 points of damage hit Laserfire. He rolls
with 4 points, -4 Power Points; -8 Hit Points. That is less than ½ of
Laserfire’s 20 Hit Points so he isn’t KO. Laserfire rolls 3 on his mass roll.
This reduces the knockback amount to 5 points. Laserfire is knockback 5
squares. He doesn’t hit anything along the way. He doesn’t take any more damage
and is still flying.}
Black Orchid studied the robot. Using her
great scientific genius to determine the next course of action the New Crusader
should take.
Dr. Wildman ran across the street to check on
Laserfire to determine if he needed any healing. Laserfire said, “Nope, I am
fine Doc. I am a bit battered but I’ve had worse. Save you spells for later
when I really need them.”
Adamas came down on the robot from above at
high speed, smashing through the head, through the floor into the jaw. He
wasn’t able to penetrate that armor. He looked up as the 2 crew members in the
Doomsday Robot’s head hit the intruder alarm.
[14] Since he's inside, Adamas switched to
his power blast. He began with a swipe across the room. He attempted to hit
both of the men inside. He used his
auto-fire, with three blasts at each.
ZZWWT!! The blast struck
Neumeyer slamming her against the console. {17
to hit; rolled 16; 9 points of damage}
ZZWWT!! The blast struck
Neumeyer too, she was knocked unconscious. {17
to hit; rolled 15; 12 points of damage}

Nuemeyer slid down the control panel console
down to the deck floor.

Tiang lay across the control panel console out for the count and the fight.
Into his comms unit, Adamas stated, "I'm in."
The hatch behind Adamas quietly opened. A Metal Mammoth came through it.
“Ah, Adamas, they told me you would be the
first one into the breach. I am CyberDoom. I see what you are capable of doing
to my crew. Let’s see what you can do to me, but this time me first.”
CyberDoom swung his massive metal fists
hitting Alien Dynamo both times.
