As Phantom’s Ka-Bar slashes menacingly through the air just missing Bobby Ray’s exposed neck, the unrelenting scourge of the criminal underworld reaches down to grab the barrel of gangster’s shotgun. Bobby Ray jerks the barrel out of Phantom’s hand as fires. KA-BLAM! The shotgun blast rips into the Avenging Arsenal’s body armor, wounding him.

Seeing the Phantom survive a close range shotgun blast was more than Rusty’s mind could handle. He bolts for the front door. Rusty runs if he was trying to escape from the devil himself. In his mind, he was.
Phantom whirls his blade back around on a back-swing straight across Bobby Ray’s exposed throat. Striking a near lethal blow, Bobby Ray drops his shotgun. Clutching his wound in a vain attempt to stop the bleeding, he staggers backwards to the wall. Upon reaching the wall he slumps down to the floor. He is on the verge of death.
Through the doorway steps Jimmy Joe. He is brings his shotgun to fire. BLAM!! The blast misses.

As Phantom’s Ka-Bar slashes menacingly through the air just missing Bobby Ray’s exposed neck, the unrelenting scourge of the criminal underworld reaches down to grab the barrel of gangsters shotgun ( OOC: I’m hoping if he can grab it, then he can keep Bobby Ray from aiming it at him again – Strength Save maybe? ).
As the cowboy themed criminal struggles to maintain control of his weapon, Phantom whirls his blade back around on a back-swing straight across Bobby Ray’s exposed throat.

Not only does Phantom want to take down Bobby Ray; since he seems to be the greater of the two threats before him ( Bobby Ray and Rusty ), but by ‘taking out’ Bobby Ray so brutally he hopes to further demoralize Rusty. He’s hoping that he can scare Rusty so badly that he simply gives up and just sits there on the floor cowering like a child, begging for mercy.
